CARMELO'S Continue Steak Legacy, Now in Greenbelt 5

WAGYU STRIPLOIN, GRADE 9. MELTS-IN-YOUR-MOUTH GOODNESS!

There is only one name that is a cut above the rest when it comes to premium steaks.... Carmelo "Melo" Santiago.  The founder of Melo's Chain of Restaurants since 1988, he is undisputedly the country's Godfather on everything and anything "steak".  Pioneering wagyu steaks in the Philippines in 2007, his eldest daughter, Chef Cristina Santiago-Rivera is at the helm of the latest go-to-wagu-place in the country, aptly called CARMELO'S WAGYU STEAKS, located at the garden level of Greenbelt 5, Makati City.

Coming from the tried and tested quality steaks legacy, Chef Christina is a genius when it comes to serving the best of the best there is when it comes to quality dining.  She carries with her a culinary diploma at the prestigious Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California.  Coming back to the Philippines, she opened her award-winning pastries cafe, Sweet Bella.  Needless to say, the added plus in dining at Carmelo's are its delectable desserts.

WAGYU TENDERLOIN, GRADE 10
Carmelo's serves the highest grade of wagyu found in the country, and that is from Grade 8 to 10. Tender and juicy, wagyu meats are known for its melt-in-your-mouth characteristic, thanks to its marbled quality. Normally served rare, or medium-rare, it keeps the juicy flavor of the meat intact.

FOIE GRAS, WITH CARAMELIZED APPLE IN RED WINE AND BERRY SAUCE.

Aside from the sumptuous and tender steaks, the restaurant also serves the best oysters, prawn, and other seafood dishes, as an alternative for seafood lovers. Carmelo's has such an inviting ambiance, it is always a pleasure to dine, even al-fresco style with the nice view of the Greenbelt garden.
