Entering a room full of LEGO brings a certain kind of excitement. LEGO has leveled up to another dimension by way of integrating the modern educational vision of First Educational Learning Trends Always (FELTA) and INTEL Education, with Microsoft as its platform. The latest recreational and educational cafe is aptly called iCreate Cafe Manila, which recently opened its doors to children and adults, using a refreshing concept in learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), the fun way.
"We are constantly upgrading our methods of creative learning," said Mylene Abiva, CEO of FELTA Multimedia, Inc. the creator of iCreate Manila. "We are happy to announce that iCreate Cafe Manila is an original concept and the first of its kind in the world." Abiva, who is recently awarded one of the Top 100 Filipina Global Influencers, also aims to divert children's attention from online gaming to hands-on play and education.
iCreate Cafe Manila is open to children and adults starting at 4 years of age. The set-up is a cross between a classroom and a day-care center, surrounded by colorful LEGO bricks and a coffee shop serving snacks in LEGO utensils.
